Master’s students – your October induction

Academic Success Programme Live: online workshops to get you ready for the year ahead.

Are you about to start a Master’s degree at the University of Manchester? Whether or not English is your first language, we have a range of support for you.

During the University induction weeks (5-16 October 2020), we’re offering a package of Academic English aimed at Master's students - the Academic Success Programme Live. Delivered via live synchronous video sessions, our Academic Writing workshops offer faculty-specific support covering both the basics and the finer points of good academic writing. Our Academic Grammar workshops also cover topics useful to students from all backgrounds and are open to students from all three faculties, as are our drop-in "Writing Clinics" - one-stop shops for questions about academic writing.

Where are you? Don’t worry if you’re far from Manchester. We'll be running the workshops at different times of day to allow for people in different time-zones, and you can sign up in advance for individual workshops which interest you.
